The “Opinion Box” refers to the system in which members who cannot participate in committees are permitted to express opinions regarding JAMP committee activities for limited periods. The committees subject to this are the Steering Committee, Management Guideline Creation/Dissemination Committee, AIS Creation/Dissemination Committee, Information Infrastructure Development/Promotion Committee and AIS Standardization Promotion Committee. The period in which opinions are accepted is roughly two weeks from the time the minutes are posted. Opinions will be presented at subsequent committee assemblies, but please note that the committees’ handling of opinions will not be reported back to each individual.
