Activities

JAMP will promote the following activities with the goal of contributing to the securing of international competitiveness for industry by promoting proper management of chemicals contained in products and smooth disclosure of information in the supply chain:

  1. 1Creation, verification and dissemination of management guidelines for information on chemicals contained in articles
  2. 2Creation, verification and dissemination of Article Information Sheet
  3. 3Promotion of establishing infrastructure for information on chemicals contained in articles based on self-declaration
  4. 4Promotion of standardizing information management on chemicals contained in articles
  5. 5Other public relations and small and medium-sized enterprise support toward dissemination of the above
  6. 6Mutual collaboration and adjustment among relevant industrial associations, groups, companies, etc. in Japan and abroad
  1. 1Creation, verification and dissemination of management guidelines for information on chemicals contained in articles

    Creation of guidelines for properly managing information on chemicals contained in articles and disclosing such information through self-declaration. These Guidelines assume a format comprising the basic concept of chemical management and a detailed manual (ANNEX). In creating the ANNEX, JAMP will proceed in collaboration with companies and industry groups in accordance with the manufacturing process of the product. JAMP will repeat verification through cooperation of relevant companies and industry groups, supply feedback and ensure effectiveness. Further, JAMP will engage in promotion by collaborating closely with the AIS Creation/Dissemination Committee

  2. 2Creation, verification and dissemination of Article Information Sheet

    Creation of the Article Information Sheet (AIS) and “AIS Creation Guidelines.” JAMP will repeat verification through cooperation of relevant companies and industry groups, supply feedback and ensure effectiveness. Further, JAMP will engage in promotion by collaborating closely with the Management Guideline Creation/Dissemination Committee.

  3. 3自Promotion of establishing infrastructure for information on chemicals contained in  articles through self-declaration

    Debating the shape of the infrastructure for managing and sharing AIS and engaging in activities that would establish and promote the aforementioned. And, in promoting this, JAMP will consider materialization based on the status of discussions within the AIS Creation/Dissemination Committee.

  4. 4Promotion of standardizing information management on chemicals contained in  articles

    Engaging in activities to promote standardization in Japan and abroad to disseminate AIS, management guidelines, etc. in society. In implementing this, JAMP will gather information and research with regard to the status of relevant efforts for standardization in Japan and abroad, and seek the basic direction toward standardization.

  5. 5Other public relations and small and medium-sized enterprise support toward dissemination of the above

    ・Establish a website and provide information extensively to members and the general public.

    ・Disclose to members information regarding committee activities in a timely fashion and gather opinions from a wide range of members.
    ・Release relevant information to members in a timely fashion through e-mail delivery services
